New user of lovely 2.4 GHz iMac is a bit bemused.
I have noticed that when iTunes is downloading podcasts all of the other net activity stops. Safari freezes.
This is not really a major drama, but a bit annoying in my otherwise wonderful changeover experience, but old PC handled simultaneous downloads.
I have the Mac hooked up via Ethernet cable to a ADSL Router modem from Belkin model F5D7633-4 - Australian (latest firmware loaded) and Mac OS X 10.5.2 loaded - still no joy.
Have done the disk permissions check and repair too.
Any ideas - is there something basic I have missed (probably!)
Reposted here - no joy in the software forum - am i up for an OS restore to try to get around possible conflict?
