iPod Podcast Question: Play podcasts in double-time?

My lectures for biochem are offered as podcasts, which is a really nice feature. I've been listening to them, but 50 minutes is a long time to sit and listen to a lecture for a review. A friend in my class mentioned that you can play podcasts at double-time, essentially cutting the listening time in half.

I would love to do this but can't seem to figure it out.

Does anyone know how to do this?

1 open up quicktime
2 open the file
3 push window
4 select av controls
5 adjust playback speed
This is probably not the best way, but it works.
