Podcast updates

I'm new to podcasts and my question is can you get podcast updates without syncing with itunes? If not is there such a app?

Are you trying to avoid iTunes all together? Or just on your computer? I believe the iTunes application on your iPhone can receive podcast updates.

There's a 'Get more episodes' button in the iPod app when you select a podcast. This links you to the iTunes app and shows you all available episodes for the current podcast.

The pain is that this is a manual process.

Afaik there's no way of automatically updating all your podcasts on the phone, this can only be done on a computer with iTunes.

Not trying to avoid it just cant always get to my puter. Is it possible to update a podcast though the itunes app on the phone?

Any podcast over 10 MB has to be downoaded over wifi. They'll stream over 3g but not download.
