I’ve been doing a Podcast on my Mac for a couple of months, which is going well but I would love to be able to switch my workflow to my iPad. I have a Rode NT USB mic, which is great but I have one major problem with it, which is that it just picks up way too much background noise.

Can anyone recommend the best app to help get rid of this? Is it possible in GarageBand? The reviews constantly say it’s one of the best mics, but it just picks up way too much white noise.

Thank you.

I think it might be possible in GarageBand.

I've had great success using Boss Jock Studio on the iPad for podcasts. The developer has discontinued that app but replaced it with Backpack Studio which is a follow-on to Boss Jock. I haven't used Backpack Studio yet but if it is anything like Boss Jock, it'll be great.

Thank you both so much. I had downloaded Ferrite but deleted it before I used it. I’m surprised Anchor doesn’t have that feature (that I can see anyway).
