I jumped on the Poetic Slimline when they first came out for the mini, and picked it up for $5. After 4 months use (with no drops or knocks that I'm aware of) I noticed a small chunk out of the plastic in one corner, with an emanating hairline crack that probably started the whole thing.
I sent an e-mail with a photo to ask if this was covered under the 3 year warranty, and their reply was an apology followed by a choice of refund or replacement. (No need to send back the damaged item due to the comparative cost.)
So, while it would be nice if the first case hadn't developed a problem, I applaud the seller (Exact-Deal) for a quick and painless follow thru on customer service.
Regards,
Tom
