Think it will use my current categories on the wheel, or stuff everything up and end up with me doing a restore?

Look like an awesome app, I really want to try it, just can't be bothered un-categorising my apps, just to re-categorise them.

I read a comment in cydia and i dont THINK it will use your categories. It has some pre made ones but I dont think it will accept your own.

I believe the option to move and re-name categories is coming in an update. I watched some sort of YouTube preview video and I am sure they mentioned that.

I don't mean PogoPlank's categories :p

I mean the old Categories that's been around for ages. What I want is for my normal SpringBoard to be as it it, on one page with Categories or it, but also to be able to switch to PogoPlank and use that, without it conflicting with Categories.

If that made any sense. Man, I'm bad at explaining.

Apparently the apps in categories will show up in the list with the rest, and you will need to re-categorize them. This is a post from someone on the xsellize forums:

Ok, so it seems to work just fine over Categories, Winterboard and Bosspaper!!

All of my apps are showing up when I try create a new folder and add apps to it, even the ones already hidden by Categories.

Link (I think this forum requires registration)

edit: just installed this and I didn't realize it did this, but it auto-sorts your apps for you into the appropriate folders! You can change them around of course, but that's pretty nifty!
edit 2: nevermind, it only sorts a few and the rest you have to arrange yourself.

Have a question regarding PP, when installing themes it only seems to impact the wheel and folder colors and appearance not the dock or even the background... am i doing something wrong, do i have to uninstall winterboard or something? I purchased Pogoplank 1.2-1 and also seemed to lose the camera and photo icon are missing, should i just install the free one? Does the free one have updates? Whats really the difference? Thanks

I knew what you meant. What I meant was that in it's current version, PogoPlank does not have the functionality to do what you want.

Perhaps in upcoming revisions.
