Every so often it stops moving from mac screen over to ipad. Done all the suggested fixes found on web. Also restarted both mac and ipad.(gen 9). In past worked great but every so often...just stops working. In control center on mac the drop down doesn't show "ipad". Wifi, airdrop, bluetooth, do not disturb but no ipad. Any help suggestions appreciated. thanks.

I'm back again with same issue. MBA and Ipad(9) all up to date. Restarted both, turned BT off/on, turned pointer push off/on and still:
