Yeah , Its glitchy

I was thinking at the dog park today . That the iPhone uses other means to get its approximate location and it uses these as cheats. while the GPS receiver is currently trying to get your true location in the background.

Wisely the people I was talking to walked away.

I think we might be able to use the temporary placeholders ( cellular and wifi networking) to spoof your location and by preventing the iPhone from getting its true location from GPS. this would allow you to cheat at POKEMON GO and be able to collect more Pokemon without having to go anywhere. This would involve editing the MAC addresses of the wifi routers near you or by trading wifi equipment with someone in another state.

I believe a vpn could be used to cheat too

Been working ok so far for me. Just issues with getting items from PokeSpots. But minor glitches are expected during day 1 launch of a major title.

Hopefully they are "apologetic" and send us some Pokeballs ;)

I've been unable to log in via PTC since last night around midnight, now it's going on 6PM.

I think they blew the launch.

I wish we would get a push if a pokemon appears nearby. obviously can't keep the app open all the time. it's sucking my battery empty by the minute.

apple watch support would be nice but I guess they want to sell their weird poke ball add on

So does this track your location with the Google login?

I logged in via Google but I don't know what it tracks and keeps stored.

Any info would be great!

Just gotta find someone who will drive you around and make sudden stops when a decent Pokémon is nearby. :/

Went for walk in the park, opened Pokemon Go and saw that there was a Pokemon nearby, walked over to try to capture it, and saw these, forgot about the Pokemon. No, this wasn't taken with an iPhone, the friend who was with me had a DSL camera.

It crashes for me on startup (just as the permission dialog pops up for location access) on a jailbroken 9.0.2. I've even tried in safe mode.

Oh well, I guess it is regular reality for me (and not augmented reality)

I'm hoping that there's some decent fixes going in. The infinite loading, the no GPS signal, the server issues. Otherwise it's a good game.

Holy smokes this thing is pretty fun. I don't know how long the allure will last, but I am liking it so far. Of course that is when I can get on when the servers are not getting lamb basted by fellow gamers.
