is there such thing that where u brought ur laptop in for 'x' amount of repairs that u should get a new one??

cuz i just brought my PB in for repair for a hinge problem on the screen. It just creaks really loud when it warms up a bit. Sometimes if i push on the screen to tilt it at a different angle, it would life my entire PB off the table.

Also, my sleep light doesn't turn on.

Other problem's i've had was when i first bought it, i had two areas of cloudy pixels. Had to get a new screen.

the feet fell off... but i think this is common? but they told me that isn't covered under warranty.

do i have a lemon?

Eh, there's no real lemon policy other than smooth talking and/or begging Apple to replace it. It sounds pretty bad though. Use your warranty to the fullest.

The general rule of thumb I have heard touted about in various places is that Apple will replace your machine with a new model IF you have had 3 problems of the same nature within the warranty period (including Applecare extensions)

In reality, I think Apple would agree to replace it for new if you can make a reasonable case to them.

I have gotten those feet for free at the Apple Store, just go ask a genius, they have several hundred in the service room. They gave me a sheet of them once (12 or so). It was nice.
