I used to use it with one hand using my thumb to tap, but am now finding it is much easier for me to hold it in one hand and use the index finder of the other hand to tap.

I can use one hand when I need to (I let thumb do the work) but I prefer using both. Left hand holds phone, right hand navigates.

There’s no going back to home button after using Apple’s intuitively easy UI gestures now.

I honestly jump between the two, like now I am using both to type. Typically scrolling, my pinky is holding the phone from the bottom, top on the back and one above the power button using the thumb to scroll.

The 5.8 iPhone X is much easier to manipulate one handed over the Plus models for me. I find myself having to use the Plus model one-handed more often than not for typing, where my hand was not fatigued
As easy with the 5.8 X.

I don’t have a problem using it with one hand.

Like it’s not difficult. I’ve gotten used to it coming from the smaller iPhone 8, and and iPhone 6S before that.

But the 2 handed discovery for me has been really great.

I don’t know why, but I just feel more into my content. Usually social media or news lol.

When I had the 7 Plus I almost always used to with 2 hands. With the X I can actually type one handed if I’m holding something in my other hand.

So it depends on the situation. 2 hand typing is better on the Plus versions due to wider screen.

Starting with the iphone7 and 3D Touch
It’s really almost impossible to use one hand.
Only people with larger hands can really use all the functions while using the iPhone with one hand. And there’s no way the X+ will be a one handed phone this yest

Great point about 3D Touch and of course there is reachability. With Plus model iPhones, I used reachability for almost everything one-handed and if it was not for reachability, I’m not sure that I would even opted for the 5.5 iPhone Plus in the first place when they debuted. It Made a major impact using the phone one Handed, of course 3D Touch short was cutting the functionality of an application in a quicker, more convenient way.

I probably use it with two hands more, but the important thing is that I can comfortably and safely use it with one hand when I need to. I can't say the same for the Plus/Max size models. The iPhone X is actually pushing the size limit for me when it comes to single handed use.

As a smaller female, I need to use two hands to use it for most tasks. This is what prompted me to go for the Max model this time, because with the X, I already made the necessary adjustments. The only issue is that I might need a new larger wallet to fit the phone, although I normally carry my phone in my back pocket.
