The new iMac has thin, white bezels. Why can't the iPhone?

The topic feels like 2017 all over again. But I wouldn’t mind a white notch and bezel. But I think Apple thinks black camera holes with a white notch is ugly.

If there was no notch, I wouldn't really care. Since it's not going away anytime soon, then no, I don't think a white notch would look good at all.

The white bezels give that iconic Apple design/identity from back in the day, but they do make the phone look larger than they are. Black bezels blend seamlessly with the screen, like darker clothes do, to give that slimmer look.

Based on the new iMacs I never ever ever want to see white bezels to a screen again.

I never minded white bezels on my iPads because they help hide finger prints. On iPhones I prefer black
