Without the hype the iPhone had, there's probably not going to be people lined around the block for the new iPod, but I think there's a good chance they'll sell out by end of day Wednesday, right?

So my question is, what do you guys think is the ideal time to get to the Apple Store.

Anyone think they'll be available when doors open Wednesday morning?
Will they start shelving them right as they're formally announced?
Or maybe they won't be stocked on Wednesday at all.

Anyone recall how things have played out with previous Apple product release?

They came out at 3:03p.m. That is some random important time to Steve Jobs.
I'm going to start playing the game that I know enough to make statements like the one above.

Should be in apple stores within minutes of it ending so figure out your time compared to the 10:00 starter

Assuming the Apple Stores will have them in stock on Wednesday, they should be able to sell them right after the keynote. I'll probably try calling right after Steve says the magic words and see if they're selling them.

I thought it was 9:41 ;) It is the time that was displayed on iPhones for quite a while.
