If everyone had an iOS device, which social media platform do you think Apple would prefer to be the dominant player?

iOS's lack of Facebook integration makes me suspect the relationship between apple and fb, but I don't know that the google/apple relationship is much better, with apple developing replacements for the google services like maps.

Strategically, which would be better for apple?

ugggghh. i don't really know or care which would be better for apple. i don't really think google plus is catching on. they had some really nice ideas (circles) but facebook was able to implement similar features very quickly and with the userbase and familairty advantage, i don't see anything unseating facebook as the social media outlet of choice for anything other than microblogging (twitter has that on lockdown, and i don't see anything unseating twitter in that regard).

apple is developing a map app? uggggh. google does maps so well, just let them keep doing it.

Apple already chose their favorite social network, Twitter.

I do imagine that we'll see them parter up with Facebook sooner or later. They both see Google as a threat.

Although there are something like 40 million people on Google +, it's not nearly as sticky as Facebook. People signed up to see what it's all about, but most of them aren't using it. Facebook got too much of a head start in that space.

I had the Google + app on my phone since the day it was released and maybe used it twice. I did some app housecleaning before IOS 5 came out and ditched it.

Apple did choose their favorite social network, Facebook, and when that deal fell through they resorted to their back-up plan, Twitter.

Apple pulled Facebook integration from iOS 4, Media Stream is its replacement
