Poll for all iMac users - does your screen have smoke or blur issues ?

Hey iMac owners

I just got my iMac and read a lot of posts about iMac owners who after typical 6 months to 1 year of ownership experience their screen gets smokey and blurred.

I would like to know how many of the iMac owners experience this kind of trouble with their iMac ?

After all you only hear complaints from people who have a reason to complain

I bought mine eight months ago. No issues with screen quality or reliability so far...In fact, the computer has been running like a clock.

I bought my 21.5" iMac in October 2010, always on or in sleep 24/7....no issues and has ran perfect....I love my change from a PC to a Mac.

Mine is always smoking, trying to get it to stop tho. Bad for it's health.

I know my model was never really affected by the problem, but fwiw my 2007 20" c2d never had any issues whatsoever.

I have two iMacs:

8,1 - C2D 24" and I've never had any issues with it at all.

11,3 - i7 27" had a refurb at first and it kept locking up and replaced it with a brand new one a few weeks ago and so far this new one is perfect

I have my 27'' i7 imac for 15 months with no issues.

How true! I get the impression that some are not happy unless they are complaining about something - however trivial it may be.

BTW the screen on my iMac, like the vast majority, is perfect.

I wonder how many of the people that have this trouble smoke or live in a older home they may have dusty house's.
there has to be a reason for this.
