Poor Windows XP Wireless Reception

Ok I am in a Hotel and using there wireless network. Under Tiger the reception is great i get full bars. But in xp I am getting low to very low reception, is this a problem of bootcamp at all?

It shouldn't make a difference at all. It's the same wireless card, regardless of what OS you are in? I haven't noticed any difference using OS X and Boot Camp in my wireless reception.
