I noticed this morning on my iPhone SE that the camera app doesn't position images correctly (vertically) when viewing them within the photo browser.

For example I just took this image of a calendar, note at the top of the image there is a white space between it and the information bar while the bottom of this image is cut off (see main image after):

And the complete image:

I only noticed it after a few times of taking pics and thinking something was off, I wasn't seeing quite the image I took. It's just shoddy on Apple's part really. It's unlikely to affect much but yet another of those "things" that shows a lack of care and attention considering the hardware and software is all Apple's own design and should "just work" as it's supposed to, it's part of what we pay a premium for over less polished product in theory.

Would it really take much effort to have the image fit in the space it's supposed to?

And if you only have one picture and the bottom thumbnails aren´t showing, you have an EVEN BIGGER white space at the bottom of the picture!!!:eek::eek::eek::rolleyes:

Yes, that would be true.

I guess we should all just shut up and worship rather than point out any flaws.

That the image isn't positioned correctly, you don't see it all in the gallery view when you could if they just shifted it up a little, where it obviously should be.

You probably can't see it with your fanboy in the way. Apple can do no wrong, sorry.

Probably better to complete the Apple feedback via their site, no-one from Apple can be expected to see it here. And this isn't user-fixable.

The problem is the aspect ratio of the viewing space isn't the same as the image, hence something has to give, obviously the devs at Apple have gone for "fill the width", if they showed the full image height then there would be space down the sides and no doubt others would complain about that. Some flaws are really just opinion on how it should be.

The picture is perfectly centered on the screen! And since the overlay on the top is more narrow than the one on the bottom, its absolutly clear that there is a little bit more space on the top. And of course the size and aspect ratio of a picture also plays a role.

Edit: Oh, and shove your "fanboy" ********! ;)
