POP in external speakers MB C2D

I have a MB C2D that I just bought as a refurb, and I love everything about it except that I get a POP in the speakers every once in a while I haven't been able to notice a pattern yet, if there is one. It's not real loud, but loud enough to be really annoying. Does anybody else have this problem?

Same problem here. "Santa Rose" Macbook (black) outfitted with 10.5.1 -- there's an intermittent pop sound from the speakers. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. It's irritating for the most part.
