POP mail stored on iPhone?

Could you essentially use the mail app on the phone to store documents, notes etc on the phone? Can you organize it with user-created folders?

no..since there is no way to save things to locations. not sure tho untill someone gets an app to do that or a function with the tapps

What if you have some mail in your POP inbox and suddenly you lose internet? Does that mean you can't look at your mail? It doesn't cache at all?
