The advertisers come up with new ways to beat the blocker, Apple makes a fix, they figure it out again...wash rinse repeat.
 
I've gotten to the point of running DNS at my house, and answering for domains I don't want. Just point them to 127.0.0.1 and nothing goes.
 
Travelocity uses pop unders on your first search. I never buy off them, only search for the airline with the cheapest fare, then head to their site and save myself the booking fee and pop unders.
