Have anyone else noticed their iPhone 16 Pro speaker “popping” when changing volume. I get it occasionally when changing volume. Especially on YouTube. Since it’s not happening every time I’m wondering if it could be software related?

Yes I have this also on Spotify as well with my 16PM. I’ve noticed it normally happens when I play audio for the first time in a while, then if I change songs quickly it doesn’t do it, just the first time audio is played.

Exactly this! Best way to explain the problem. If it was a hardware problem I thought it would be every time?

Happened to me for the first time this morning. Two-week old 16 Pro, manufactured in September, started listening to a song on Apple Music and immediately turned up the volume when I started the song. Speaker popped loudly. Wasn’t listening to anything prior to these actions.

It’s doing it for me on multiple applications spotify, YouTube etc. just when I change the volume for the first time then it’s fine. I’ve never done it before is there a way to report it to Apple?

I get this occasionally in Youtube. I assume it's another iOS 18 bug that will eventually be fixed. I remember my Macbook Pro M1 Pro having audio popping issues until it was fixed in some update.

Same here. Audio quality on 16 pro max sounds poor like a budget Samsung phone. Sep 2024 battery manufactured date set.

Pops when adjusting volume.

Will return after 18.1 launches
