Popup message in the upper right corner

For several months now or maybe even longer, I've been getting popup messages in the upper right hand corner of my MBA. They only remain there for a few seconds and then disappear.

Most of the time I don't have time to read them and I have NO idea as to whether they remain on my MBA for later reading (other than emails). Is there any way to read these messages after they ZIP off the screen?

They're notifications from sites you have allowed. Go to system settings, notifications and stop them if they botgher you.

Yes: Notification Center. Just click on the top-right icon (the lines).
