I have gone and ordered the base i5 5k 27" 2017 with 512 SSD and 24GB ram to take care of my main computing tasks such as photo and video editing and some web development in the evenings and weekend.
This is my first desktop for a very long time and always had a laptop. I was looking for something small and lightweight for times I need to be away from the desk or just want to relax for smaller tasks.
What portable device do you run in addition to your iMac?
I have considered the following:
1) MacBook Air 11.6" / 13" from 2013/14/15
2) MacBook Pro Retina 13" from 2013/14
3) Microsoft Surface Pro 4
4) Dell XPS 13
5) iPad Pro 10.5
I am unsure which path to take as it just needs to be light, portable and still allow light web development and quick photo edits and video edits if not sat in front of the iMac.
