I like the idea of the Nomad Pod/Pod Pro, but there seems to be so much wasted space because of the need to wind the charger cable. Now that Apple is licensing/selling just the magnetic inductive charging disk, any products (even if only announced) out there that really shrinks the size of a portable charging solution for the Apple Watch?
When I'm going to be on the go all day, I do have a portable battery that has a built-in lightening cable, but it doesn't have a USB port to plug in a charging cable. (Yes, I know that portable batteries without built-in cables have the port, but the one I use is compact and avoids the need to carry a separate cable, no matter how short.) Plus, I've never ended up with less than 50% charge at the end of the day with my Apple Watch, so I just want something separate for the Watch.
It would be nice if Apple announced that the next Watch will have the same charging system and the same band system, so companies would be willing to invest in accessories.
