I just saw that Portal 2 on the Mac is cheaper than on the Xbox. Does that mean there is something on the Xbox that there is not on the Mac? Also, I don't have a PS3, but I'm tempted to get it because it comes with Portal 2 for the Mac. So even if it is more expensive, I could just sell it, right?

PC games are typically cheaper as things go, and Steam is selling it for 10 percent off on preorders.

However, as it's tied into your Steam account, no, you cannot sell it – not unless you want to sell your Steam account and associated games also.

^This.

Although sadly more companies are upping PC games to $60 (in spite of gimped controls,no dedicated servers, delayed or no DLC, etc ...)

And since Valve doesn't allow this, it would be the sort of thing that could get your account killed off ... well, the other person would be the one to suffer, but you get the picture.
