portal not running on crossover

does anyone else's portal work? i just got orange box yesterday and was trying out all the games. all the games work fine except for portal where it freezes at the blurring screen.

i m running the 7.0.0 crossover game demo on a MBP leopard 2.2GHz, 2gb ram

sigh now steam isn't even running....i was just playing team fortress 2 this afternoon

edit- nvm steam is running, just really slow start up but other than that, it's all good except for portal

Try running Portal in Direct X 8.0 mode

To do this change the launch options in properties, adding "-dxlevel 80" into the box, it worked for me.

You might also want to try out Crossover Games which is a new build of Crossover made for games.
