Does anyone know if Loki's game ports (lokigames.com) are being ported to darwin? I can't find any info on this at fink or darwin ports, so I assume no...

I really want to play alpha centauri on os x, I hate running classic.

Loki makes a linux version of these games for ppc, but when I try to install it using "sh" in the terminal, it says that glibc-2.1 under darwin is not supported.

Is there anything that can be done?

I think there are some fundamental differences between Linux and Darwin. I don't think it's possible to run Linux/PPC binaries on Darwin. You would need to recompile the source code.

I don't know much about Loki. Didn't they go out of business? I have no idea whether the source of their games is available, but my guess would be no.
