Porting numbers at AT&T Friday?

Does anyone know if they will be porting numbers after our iPhone purchases on Friday, or is Friday after 6 purely sales...? ( I am on Alltel breaking contract).

Can you do this through iTunes? That would be better.... any details are greatly appreciated.

did you not see the gazillion threads here or the activation video on apple.com?

you buy the phone at the store, then use any computer you want to activate the phone, including porting the number, through iTunes.
