Porting phone number from Vonage to iPhone

Has anyone ever had any issues porting a phone number from a Vonage account to your iPhone? I plan on jumping on the MicroCell bandwagon Monday when it's available in my area (Raleigh, NC). If the MicroCell works as well as I hope it will, I plan on then porting our Vonage phone number to my wife's iPhone (she gets very few outsider phone calls on her iPhone, so the change of number won't bother her). We would then be completely dependent on our iPhones for phone service and it would save me the monthly Vonage cost, which would pay for the MicroCell very quickly.
