Portrait mode works like crap for me in iOS 10.
Terrible rendering of the bokeh - it looks like cheap photoshop. I decided to stop using it.
80% of the shots I take have this bad halo around the faces. I am assuming the engine does not do a good job at detecting edges and applies a gaussian or whatever type of blur outside of the selection. Check the attachment.
Going back to the real cameras and real lenses
iOS 11 is the same for me.

Is that worse than you find in ios10? Or is it suggesting new you're trying? Just trying to understand if this is a regression?
