iPhone XS Max Portrait mode grainy on Iphone Xs max

so i just tested portrait mode again on my iphone xs max , the result was terrible, this picture was taken in my kitchen , the lighting was good as you can see , note : i just crop my face in this pic , no zoom or anything, this pic just pure portrait mode.
Im kinda worried if this the hardware problem , any suggestions ? Does it happened to u guys too ? Help

The point of portrait mode is to take portraits—of people. You didn’t do that, so you didn’t get the result you expected. Just use the regular camera mode.
