I have a Week 01 MacBook Air, and I just started to notice that my MBA has not been performing its best since I bought it.

This morning I woke up to a full charge at 0745am, but now its 0831 and my battery is now at 53%; is there something wrong? I took a stopwatch and averaged it at about 53-55 seconds where the battery will drop 1%.

I just called Applecare and they said to either take it into an Apple Store or have it shipped out to the repair depot; I think I will go with the Apple Store option. Do you think the Apple Store can replace the battery for me?

This was purchased about February 13th. Has anyone had an issue with battery replacement or unit replacement?

According to coconut battery, current battery capacity is 4670 and original battery capacity is 5090, and the system profiler says that I'm at 31 charge cycles. And YES, i've reset the PRAM, PMU/SMC, and calibrated my battery

What app's are you running? I know if I stress mine where fan is cranking w. screen brightness pegged, it can drain fast but just running Office, Safari (non-flash pages) and mail it'll go 4+ hours. If you're not running anything, you seriously got issues.

Battery problem

It does sound like you have a problem. Please let us know what happens when you take your MBA into the store. We're all curious how they will handle a battery swap.
