iPad possible display issue?

Brand new iPad 4th gen, just got it setup and was testing out the Pencil (2nd gen) and while just doodling a bit noticed some weird discoloration happening in a couple of spots when drawing. Gut says this is not normal/expected behavior but wanted to check with you all before I head down to the apple store.

Is this normal? 😩 Recently bought the iPad Air 4 - LOVE IT! It’s perfect for what I need it for! Just one problem - pixels appear to distort / bleed when even just slight pressure is applied. Not forcing the screen, just slightly more pressure than just ’brushing‘ with my finger. Genius Bar...

I'm guessing he's talking about the iPad Air 4th gen? No pencil support/availability when the regular 4th gen was released!
