Possible graphics card issue?

I don't have a picture yet but sometimes when I open a new tab in Chrome and look at the previous browser windows, part of the picture has some colored static. Is this a Chrome issue or graphics card issue?

If it doesn't happen in any other app, I'd be tempted to say "chrome issue".

However, if you suspect your machine has a fault, then you should get it looked at while it's still under warrantee, rather than leave it to get worse.
