Can someone try this for me, I've tried it on 2 different HomePods and get the same thing. I've very hard of hearing so it's bloody annoying.

1. Hey Siri, Set my timer for 3 minutes 30 seconds
2. Hey Siri, Turn your Volume Up to 100%
3. Confirm the response that "Thats very loud, are you sure".
4. Hey Siri, How long is left on my timer?

When Siri answers step 4, it's back to being low volume. Does yours do the same? Anyone know a fix?

I'm not by my HomePod, buy try saying 99%.
if that doesn't work, try other close numbers like 95.

sometimes things only get 100 steps, and 0 is one of them, so 99 is the last.

Just a theory... she probably just says "that's very loud" for anything over a certain number, But then when she goes to set the volume, it's an invalid number so nothing happens.

if that works, let apple know

Are you talking about the media volume or the Siri volume?
Hey mate, I’m referring to Siri volume.

So when you do Step 3 Siri replies “Ok I’ll speak louder” but then when you ask how longs left on the timer, Siri’s volume has gone back quiet.
