Is there a way to hook up a external monitor to the 24" iMac as in the same way you can do with a macbook pro? Reason being is that I want the 24" iMac and I want to do photo editing. I'm getting mixed reviews on it due to the glossy screen. Some say yes and others say no. I have a 21 inch LCD display that I am not using. I was wondering if I can use it when I need to edit photos. I can't afford the macbook pro that I want so my next option is the iMac.

The Apple Store sells adapters for such purposes.
The iMac display can be mirrored or extend the desktop to the 2nd monitor.

While you probably can hook up an lcd to the xbox, his question was can you hook the 360 to the 24" imac and the answer is no. The 27" yes, the 24", negative.
