Possible MBP next Tuesday?

I ordered a MBP in April and the unit ended up having hardware issues out of the box. So on the 21st I sent the unit back to Apple. They received the unit back on the 22nd. They confirmed the new unit was going to ship Thursday (yesterday) then today I got an email saying my order had been delayed. When I look at the status now it shows a ship date of next Tuesday.

So what do you guys think? delayed because of the holiday or new units coming? The apple store shows 24 hours to ship so I don't know why my order would have been delayed by a week.
 
Part of me thinks they're holding off to send you a new one, the rest of me thinks that its a bank holiday, and you just got your replacement delayed. I can't really see them delaying your repair, just so they can send you a new one.

It's not being repaired. It is being replaced.
 
I honestly don't see Apple giving you a new one (I mean the next update). If they have the current versions in stock, they will likely give you the one that you originally had. But keep us posted. Unless the announcement is made and we all know about the new laptops. And of course we would know about them because they wouldn't ship them other wise. Hmm. I'll stop rambling.
 
Honestly when I saw the title of this thread part of me wanted to say, "Here we go again....Same old s*** again."

I wasnt even waiting for the next Macbook Pro, but tuesday seems to be the 14th day in my grace period...interesting...I should Back up all my information now. Seems lik tuesday I may be taking a trip to the Apple Store in manhatten.
 
It would be nice to see the updates but honestly given the sheer lack of color quality of the current LED backlight screens in the 15" variety if they are included in the next update I would prefer to have the computer I got originally.
 
I hope Jobs won't announce anything MBP related at WWDC, it will be a fun entertainment watching people having internet-hysteria.

Gotta buy popcorn on that day.
