Hi, for about 3/4 months now I've noticed that the fan(s?) inside my iMac are running A LOT louder than they used to. I notice it most in the nights when I just want to listen to some quiet jazz as I sleep, I can hear the fan noise more than the music, and have to turn up the volume.
Resetting or turning the mac off and then back on helps, but still, I remember when I first got it back in September it was quiet as a mouse. And also after seeing (and listening to) my brothers new Intel based iMac, I'm convinced that there is something wrong with mine, even if it is a minor problem.
The most processor heavy application I use is Painter IX.5, but this fan problem happens no matter what I use.

I've also noticed that my iMac runs slower than it used to.
I'm thinking maybe it's because of the recent heat wave in London, or because maybe the inside of my mac is filled with dust and needs a clean?

Any help much appreciated.

Peace

I just downloaded iStat Pro widget, and took a screenshot.
(As you can see I resentley restarted my Mac).

Does this look normal?
