Hi everyone,
i have a set of questions. So I will take steps:
1. I am using iPhone SE 2nd generation (with ios 15.4 installed on it), my phone is still under active warranty.
2. Before updating to 15.4 (1.5 days ago), I was running ios 14.
3. I was more happy with ios 14 that I had than ios 15.4 in terms of reliability, battery consumption and overall usage (animations and moving around system in ios 15.4 is somehow slow, buggy, and needs more time to open apps). I know it is impossible to downgrade to ios 14 now because it is not signed anymore by Apple.
4. So I was looking for solutions yesterday, but I have not found anything useful.
Questions:
1. Is it somehow possible over time for these problems to solve by themselves (or future update to ios 15.4.1) ?
2. Can I somehow jailbreak my iPhone, install ios 14, then remove jailbreak and stay on ios 14 ?
3. Will my warranty be still active after that ?
4. Any recommendations welcome.
Thanks in advance !!

1. Give it some time. It could still be indexing your content and processing other things in the background.
2. No, you cannot jailbreak.
3. Define "buggy". What bugs are you experiencing?
4. Maybe do a restore and set up as new. iOS 15 has been running fine on my parents' 7 & XR, which are older than the SE2.

OP, no your are stuck with iOS 15. Hopefully it will improve over time, but it is definitely buggy, not as much as iPadOS 15, but it is still buggier than most iOS releases have been. Apple seems to have shanked their OSes quite a bit during the pandemic. Maybe staying at home and trying to code while constantly being interrupted by kids and SO isn't such a good thing after all!

Might want to start a thread in the jailbreak sub-forum..

1. How long do you think it could take at the worst case ?
2. But if theoretically I could do it, would it be possible to stay on ios 14 in the end, and remove jailbreak ?
3. I mean the whole os seems less reactive to quick motions and quick touch interactions, animations seem to work on lower refresh rate, third party apps open slower, I mean it is not so slow but the difference from previous ios is definitely visible.
4. Well, did you encounter something similar to what i have written here? I will wait for week or two before restoring, maybe it will resolve by itself.

You wouldn't be able to downgrade by jailbreaking either.

If you're that adamant and unhappy about it, sell the phone and then by one on the used market that hasn't been upgraded. There are probably plenty of them available.

It seems that is the only solution, I don`t understand why is it so hard to let users use whatever software they like.
