Hey guys I was just thinking about how the Tablet might work and it donned on me that in the "Come see our latest creation" poster the paint almost looks splattered on like it was thrown at it. The way I take that is since the Tablet will probably have a built in Isight, I bet it would use the camera to identify gestures without even touching the screen. Much like project natal for the xbox. What do you guys think?

In the Depths of the SLC!
According to rumors about there being a big surprise to how you interact with it, and about 3-D space interaction, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like this. It certainly would be a big deal from a gaming standpoint in my opinion.

I'm trying not to think too much about it to avoid getting my hype up.

That's actually quite plausible. Multi-touch without having to touch (and therefore mark) the screen. I like it :)

Visual gesture recognition is too unreliable and CPU intensive and adds little beyond what a normal touch screen gets you. Having to keep the camera on all of the time would kill the battery and you wouldn't be able to use it in the dark at all. Not going to happen.
