Possible to back up iOS 11 beta in iTunes?

Hi All, quick question, I have a 10.5 running iOS 11 developer beta at the moment. I am considering buying a 12.9 as well. Can I back up my 10.5 iOS 11 in iTunes and restore that backup to the new 12.9?

Yes you can, but you may need a Mac to do so, I remember. Windows iTunes may not allow you to backup iOS 11 at this stage.

Mac won't be a problem, have a few. Was just wondering if there was something kooky that would prevent backing up and restoring beta's.

I could backup my 7+ (iOS 11 b1) with iTunes on Windows without problem. Didn't test the restore, though. But the backup can be read with iExplorer
