MP 1,1-5,1 Possible to boot Linux only?

Is it possible to boot Linux only, without a macOS drive? If so, what bootloader would I use?

Start with an usb Linux live distro.

If it boots from usb then ( if you wish) you can install on SSD .

Dual boot or Linux only.
In that case Linux use grub bootloader ...
