Hello,
I need a Iphone SE which will work abroad with TD-LTE on bands 38, 39, 40, 41. I don't plan to use it in the US at all (maybe a week or so at the most). from what I understand, the A1723 is the one to buy. However, it seems the Sim-free version that Apple store provides is the A1662 which is not suitable. I read some previous posts on this topic (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/how-can-i-buy-a-sprint-iphone-se-without-contract.1963911/, https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/new-sim-free-iphone-se-on-sprint.1962435/, https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7503599?start=0&tstart=0) and most of them say you cannot get it.

But one or 2 people on these posts mention that you could, if you don't plan to use it on sprint at all. Now, I currently have Verizon and I have no plans to pay sprint anything, even pay-as-you-go. All I want is to get that phone, in an unlocked state and use it abroad permanently, with all the LTE bands enabled. Is this possible? I don't mind spending a little bit of money on a sprint SIM if that's what I need to get it activated, but I won't use sprint at all.

Also, does anyone have experience of using a Verizon sim (lte enabled) in a sprint phone? If this phone is bought paying full price, will it still not work? All I need is for it to work on my soon-to-be-cancelled Verizon plan for at most a week. Even voice-only is fine with me. I don't need LTE or 3g in this time period.
