Is there really no way of getting iOS6 back?

I sincerely regret upping my iPhone 4 to iOS7, and even though I've always enjoyed using my iPhone, the installation of iOS7 has really made me look in other directions.

It should not have been released for iPhone 4, it's uselessly slow, and it has made my previously nice smartphone into a hell to navigate on and use. I usually don't buy new devices every year, and the iPhone 4 was not cheap when I got it, so I think it's really unfair to partly brick it with a useless OS after a few years, without the opportunity to go back.

Can I do a tethered jailbreak or JUST SOMETHING to somehow get back to iOS6? The other solution will be another phone, no question.

Use iFaith (windows only) to see if you have complete 6.1.3 blobs. If not, you're stuck on iOS 7

If you have iOS 5 blobs, you may downgrade to that

Will try this, but I haven't previously jailbroken my iPhone - does this mean I have none of these blobs available?

Cydia might have iOS 5 blobs, iOS 6.0-6.1.2 are invalid from Cydia.

If you did not save any manually change are you don't have any or not any valid blobs.

No blobs, no downgrade.

Thanks for this. No need to try iFaith then...
Anyone wanna trade an iPhone 4 iOS7 for an iPhone 4 iOS6? :D
