i just installed the beta profile and upgraded to ios11 gm. Will I be able to get the final version on 9/19 next week (if it’s slightly different?). Or will I be stuck with this version? Thanks

They'll be the same. If you remove the beta profile from you device and they release a 11.0.1 build you will be able to upgrade to the latest over the air like everyone else. Remember all iPhone 8s will have this GM build installed before shipment next week.

Agreed they will be the same build so it's usually pointless to go re-setup the phone.

I’m guessing me deketing the profile is not going to revert me to 10?

It will simply then only notify me if official go live with public update instead of potential micro beta updates before the 19th?

The only way to delete the profile is to reset your phone anyway, correct?

Removing the profile will do nothing but take you off the beta track going forward. Keeping it will also do nothing for iOS 11.0. If you download and install the GM, you are on the final release. The only exception to that is if Apple repeats what it did last year and releases a 11.0.1 version on release day (due to some bug being found). You'll be notified to download that regardless of whether you have the Beta profile version installed or not.

No, simply go to Settings—>General—>Profile. Tap on the beta profile then tap Remove Profile. Restart your device. No reset or restore needed.

I installed the GM yesterday and there's no profile, I installed by iTunes.

No. Just got into settings and profiles and delete the profile and then reboot your device.

Because you installed it with an IPSW file. OTA update requires profile to pull the install from the server.
