Possible to Manually Upgrade on iMacs?

I'm sure there are ways to upgrade the imacs.

I was wondering if there was now an actual way to upgrade the RAM and hard drive on the new iMacs?
It would be great if Apple made an easier way to actually take out the RAM and HD so you can easily upgrade it.

The RAM actually doesn't seem too bad for a build to order. The HDD I've been reading requires 2.5" to 3.5" converter and as I mentioned before, think Apple will offer options for SSDs when cost and storage work out vs. HDDs.

How much will be recognized anyway of the possible 16 GB configuration in Snow Leopard I wonder?

The RAM can be easily upgraded yourself as with most Apple models. Remove the memory access door on the bottom center with a phillips screwdriver. Anything bought before today has 2 slots. The new iMacs have 4 hence the wider display.

Harddrives are not considered user replaceable, it involves removing the front bezel and LCD panel.
