Is there any way to remove the dock on my 3G? I am jailbroken, and i have winterboard with the "transparent dock", but i really don't see the need to have 4 or 5 icons staying at the bottom of the screen. I have searched and googled, but came up with nothing. Any help would be much appreciated.

But then i have a space at the bottom of the screen empty, and if i try to fill that empty space with an icon it will create a dock.
i think he means to completely remove the dock itself from the phone, meaning when you scroll from page to page, the icons on the lowest row slide also. although i could be way off
SOunds like a good idea though. Sure, there are some key apps you'd want to get to quickly but that is what double-tapping to the first page is for.
That is exactly what I mean. I don't have a need for the same 4-5 apps at the bottom of every page.
