Warbrain said:I don't think you'd be able to do that since the keys on a French keyboard are laid out slightly differently and are shaped differently.

beedster said:Is it possible to remove the keys from a MacBook? A friend has just bought one but it has the French keyboard layout so wants to move the keys around to the standard layout. Can he do this or is he gonna just break the keys? Thanks.
I just converted my whole keyboard te the Dvorak layout.
Basic steps to convert are lift up the key just enough to fit a screw driver under it. Press the little piece of plastic in on the bottom left corner. Lift key to remove. Reverse process to reinstall.
