...Through an iPhone 3G, Via the MyWi application?

Being jailbroken, is this theoretically and practically possible? I could do with the speed of the 3G S, but would prefer to just pay for a new iTouch instead of the £540 or so on the 3G S. On the iPod I can just route internet through the iPhone using MyWi, but is this possible with calls?
