Is it possible to set things up so that my Palm OS Device could sync with both iCal and Address Book and the Calendar and Adress Book in the Palm Desktop at the same time? Like if I had both conduits in the conduits folder at once?

No...

Nope, that's why they kick each other out. Curious though, why would you want to?

Yeah but, doesn't the Hotsync manager just go one by one through the conduits, whatever is in there? So why couldn't you have one conduit sync with Palm Calendar and then the next conduit in line is sync with iCal?

I have my reasons for wanting to sync with both for now...Palm lets me do things iCal doesn't. Also, I want to try both on for size at the same time.

One conduit per data source on the Palm. So you can only sync the calander to one thing on your computer.

I'm curious, what does iCal not do? iCal has a lot of features that aren't well documented and it may be there.

Thanks for that explanation.

iCal doesn't let me organize To Do lists by category, such as "Computer", or "Restaurants", or "Camera" or "DVD's" (These are examples of categories of To Do lists I have set up with Palm Desktop). You can only organize them by Calendar. However, it's not that big of a deal, I really only use the Calendar and Contacts on my computer and only reference my To Do's on my Palm Device.
