I've encountered my last straw with Backblaze. It's an unexpected 'frozen state' that customer service can't adequately explain or help with.
So I'm considering other backup places, like iDrive.

But in the short run, since I have storage accounts with: iCloud; Dropbox; Google Drive - can I either Time Machine or use Chronosync to those services?

Thanks for your help.

Chronosync can connect with iCloud and Google Cloud Storage.
I have no experience with either though.

Time Machine can't use cloud storage.

iCloud does not have an API suited to backup software.

Chronosync (which I use for Mac sync on my home LAN) can connect to Amazon S3, Backblaze B2 or GoogleDrive for backup/synchronisation. Its iCloud connection is for connecting to your iCloud Drive (that is on your Mac, not directly to iCloud servers). Chronosync is not my recommendation.

For the most Time Machine like experience: Arq which can use Dropbox or Google (and lots of other services) for its cloud storage.

I use Arq to OneDrive and to B2 storage. Arq is also much better than Backblaze for Mac users.
